(Somewhere) Over the Rainbow
When all the world is a hopeless jumble,
and the raindrops tumble all around.
Heaven, opens a magic lane.
When all the clouds darken up the skyway,
there's a rainbow highway to be found,
leading, from your window pane.
To a place behind the sun, just a step beyond the rain.
Somewhere over the rainbow,
way up high,
(oh yes), there's a land that I heard of,
once in a lullaby.
Somewhere over the rainbow,
skies are blue,
and the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true.
Someday I'll wish upon a star,
and wake up where the clouds are far behind me.
Where troubles melt like lemon drops,
away above the chimney tops that's where you'll find me.
Somewhere over the rainbow,
blue birds fly,
birds fly over the rainbow,
why then, oh why can't I?
If happy little blue birds fly beyond the rainbow,
Why, oh, why can't I?
This song's originated by Harold Arlen. :)
I love this song, it rocks man!
Anyway, I can't find the full version of this song on Yahoo!.
This is so ironic, I thought famous songs will have the full version.
I also noticed that there are many versions/remix of this song by many artists.
Haha, this song inspired me for the sudden change of URLs. :D
I love the part where they say,
"Where troubles melt like lemon drops,
away above the chimney tops that's where you'll find me."
I thought that if troubles can really melt like lemon drops,
then there'll be happiness.
Anyway, thumbs up for this sweet lovely song! *winks* (Y)
